Thanks to 700 iPhone logs we now have data on 2.1 million mobile phone network cells.

The colors indicate the density of surrounding network cells. They do not show the range of the cell towers.
Note 2:
The results are preliminary since our database is based on only 700 iPhone logs … yet.
So please donate your iPhone logs too!

@Pit – Because, while geeks classically enjoy interesting stuff like this, they’re also, as a group, paranoid about giving out their information. Note I say this as one of the 700 that donated my logs ^_^
Geeks should understand, that this data is not linked to them in any useful way.
